ArtForKidsAfter School Art Classes at Sherman Elementary Sponsored by Arts Enrichment and Sherman PTSA Art For Kids School will be offering TWO after school art classes at Sherman Elementary for the 2018/2019 school year, sponsored by your Sherman Elementary PTSA. The program is process oriented and designed to enhance your student’s enjoyment of art and creative expression, while tying into the principles of STEAM wherever possible. The emphasis in the program is to acquaint students with various materials, and to develop skills, thereby enhancing their self-esteem in regard to their creativity (in a technique-based, sequential learning program, similar to piano lessons). Students will have an opportunity to explore their creativity through a variety of materials including pen and ink, watercolors, acrylics, pastels and clay.
