2021-2022 PTSA LEADERSHIP
As your elected PTSA board members, we are committed to serving our Sherman community.
Lindsay and her husband, Andy, have been Sherman parents since 2015. Lindsay has three kids, one at Mason and two attending Sherman: Caleb (6th grade), Hannah (4th grade), and Nathan (1st grade). This is her second year serving as a board member, but she has been an active participant of the PTSA and has helped with social media the last three years. Lindsay enjoys spending time with family, kid activities, and working as a physical therapist.
Hello! My name is Celesta Smith. I am the lucky mom to Rowan (7th grade) and Wyatt (5th grade). This is my second year serving on the PTSA board. In previous years I have supported the PTSA as chair of the annual auction and other activities. Our family loves spending time at the beach, paddle boarding, swimming, and scuba diving. I enjoy being a part of the Outdoor Learning program at Sherman. Additionally, over the last five years, I have had the privilege of teaching Mindfulness at Sherman and two other Tacoma Schools. In this time of change, I look forward to being a part of the PTSA as we support our amazing Sherman community of parents, students, and teachers!
Hi! My name is Emily and I am excited for my first year on the Sherman PTSA board and helping out as much as I can! My husband, Nic, and I love living in the North End and being a part of the Sherman community. Our oldest, Everly is 9 and in 4th grade. Elowyn is 6 and is in 1st grade. Our twins, Josephine and Jonathan, are 4 and are counting down the days until they get to be in Mr. Stanley's class!
Sara has been a Sherman PTSA member since her oldest daughter Cameron started at Sherman in 2013. Sara currently has 2 kids at Sherman - Lauren is in 4th grade & Jace is in 1st grade- and Cameron is now in 8th grade at Mason Middle School. Sara has served on the board once before, as a Co-VP in 2017, and she and her husband Jesse are active volunteers. Sara loves helping Sherman families feel a sense of community within the school.
